Have I mentioned how much I adore all that is ETSY? Need I mention how amazed I am when I find how few people take part in the joy that is conducting business on ETSY? I continually find myself shocked when I learn of people who don't even know what ETSY is? How could it be?
Last week in the midst of my discovery and growing infatuation with Vintage Paint By Numbers I decided to treat myself to a few. Call it a "modest splurge" as recommended by The Happiness Project. I searched, I found, I purchased. Yesterday the first one arrived in finest ETSY fashion.
My $12.00 purchase, beautifully wrapped along with a long handwritten letter from the seller.
I love the painting. Love it! I love the personalized homey feeling of the transaction. It arrived very swiftly, and in line with the vast majority of my ETSY transactions, fully exceeded my expectations! More please.

Thank you, Laurie! I truly love what I do on Etsy, and take joy and pride in my finds, my packaging, and my customer service. Working with people like you puts a lovely homemade buttercream icing on that sweet cake. Best of wishes, and I'd love to see your painting when it's hung in its new home!

OK, this one cracks me up because after getting inspired by your Reading List and checking out a majority of your suggested books (many of which I loved, some a little too much psycho-babble for my tastes though), I recently checked out one more, Nurture Shock by: Po Bronson [2009](I'm SURE you've read this one). Anyway, being a reader of introductions, of course I read his and guess what he pans in it...PAINT BY NUMBERS!! Thought of you while the whole intro and had to chuckle.

Ah, I found it, the Introduction to Nurture Shock:

Me thinks you and Po Bronson would be unlikely bed fellows...(or even roommates)
