I did start again. Last week I carefully composed a long and heart felt post about where I have been, what I have discovered and all sort of other juicy wise words and revelations. Not totally sure what happened but the well crafted entry magically and mysteriously disappeared. Perhaps I forgot how to use the blogging platform, it's been a good long while after all.
Fine, a new month is upon us, a new season at that. If it weren't snowing and freezing rain outside I might just be giddy with spring in the air. Alas, a wool sweater is wrapped about me and my 3rd cup of coffee is working to keep me warm.
Welcome April and hurry up Spring! Even when coated with fresh snow you are a sight for sore eyes and very cold toes. Look at all we get to look forward to in April (courtesy of), it's going to be a busy one!
April 1st- April Fools Day
- a high holiday for the elementary school set
April Is Keep America Beautiful Month
- sounds nice, I'll be working on that
April Is National Frog Month
- and what are we actually to do with the frogs? I'll leave it to my boys to sort that out

- Perhaps - though in New England I believe we call it "mud month"
April Is National Humor Month
- I'm on it.
April Is Stress Awareness Month
- I'll leave this one to Big Daddy, he's on it
3rd Week - Week of the Young Child
- thank goodness not the whole month, tho, do they really even need a week?
No Housework Day - April 7th
- Why can't this one be a week?
April 19th- Passover begins at Sundown
- Yeah, Matzo Ball soup!
Easter- April 24th
-hope all the snow is melted, hunting eggs in the snow is a drag
Earth Day- April 22nd
Arbor Day- April 24th
Hug a Friend Day- April 26th
Beltaine- April 30th
- will the fun ever end?

hooray - I missed you! You may want to add "ellie day" on April 28th...she'll be another year older & you'll be able to celebrate w/ her at BHCC!

Uh, don't look now (and I know what a fabulous holiday party planner you are) but Easter is April 24th (not 12th as you've informed your throngs of admiring fans)...better send out a correction memo STAT!
(plus, you missed all of the joyous Holy Week elements: Palm Sunday (4/17) Maundy Thursday (4/21) Good Friday (4/22)...alas!
