I posted earlier this week about my summer project of implementing 6 steps for "Bringing in the Green with Feng Shui". Today is item number 2 in the 6 step program.
Lucky Chinese Coins.
According to the article: "The Ming Tang of your office or home is the entrance. As you step inside you are transitioning from the outside world to the inside. Very often in the Ming Tang area I use a rug or mat near the front door. Take 3 Lucky Chinese coins and tape them to the back of the rug. Every time someone walks in they symbolically are bringing money into your property and into your life."
Ok - so I ordered my chinese lucky coins from Feng Shui Consultants of Boca Raton (I tried out Bing.com for the first time . . . fun . . . and as the advertisements claim - rather effective). As you can see I ordered a few sets. One for under the front door mat, one for the back door mat, and one for my husbands office. Then I ordered one for you!

The Feng Sui Consultants sent a nice sheet of paper instructing where to place the coins . . .they don't mention under door mat - but rather to place them in the back left corner of any room of your home. The left corner is the Wealth and Prosperity Bangua area of your home." They also listed some ideas of other places to stash them . . . . hmmm might need to get more.
Of note - they recommend keeping them in the red envelope. The envelope symbolically represents power, good luck and protection from evil and will apparently increase their power . . . gotta run now I left my coins "naked" under the rugs . . .

Did it say what happens if you leave one under your husband's pillow? If I win, that is what I will try, and report back on the results. G rated, of course.
